Itinerary
🎯Day 1
➡️03:45 PM: Assemble at Pune railway station & catch local train to Lonavala
➡️05:45 PM: Reach Lonavala (Mumbai participants will meet us directly at Lonavala)
➡️06:15 PM: Board Sumo to Rajmachi & fasten your seat belt for the off-road journey ahead
➡️08:00 PM: Reach the start point of the Rajmachi fireflies trek
➡️10:30 PM: Reach Rajmachi Village & indulge into a delicious dinner at local’s home
➡️11:45 PM: Pitch your tents, witness thousands of fireflies, stargaze for a while & indulge in group activities
🎯Day 2
➡️04:30 AM: Wake up & freshen up. If you are lucky you might still see few fireflies
➡️06:00 AM: Start the trek to Shrivardhan Fort
➡️07:00 AM: Reach on the top of the fort, witness the mesmerizing views, create some beautiful memories
➡️09:00 AM: Take the detour to Manaranjan Fort & descend back to the base
➡️10:30 AM: Have Breakfast & start the return journey to Lonavala
➡️01:00 PM: Reach Lonavala (+/- 1 hour)
➡️02:50 PM: Catch the local train back to Pune
Trek ends but the beautiful memories stay forever
Note:
If road is not motorable, jeep will be available till halfway only therefore participants will have to walk 8km.
If it rains, stay will be in homestay, camping is not possible due to rain.
Due to the seasonal rush during this period, limited jeeps are available and the participants are requested to wait patiently for their turn.
While the Rajmachi Fireflies Festival is an incredible event, please note that the visibility of fireflies is subject to weather conditions. Adverse weather may impact the ability to observe fireflies during the festival. However, regardless of firefly sightings, you can still enjoy the stunning natural beauty of Rajmachi and explore the historical fort.

Exclusions
• Train tickets (Local train ticket costs ₹ 15/- pp)
• Any expense of personal nature i.e. packaged drinking water/ tea/ coffee/ cold drinks etc. while travelling.
• Anything not mentioned in Inclusions.
How To Prepare For Adventure
• Carry 2-3 liters of water for the trek & stay hydrated.
• Do carry a bedsheet/ blanket as we will only provide tent & foam mat.
• Carry light snacks & fruits for the trek.
• Take out your trek pants, trekking/sports shoes (Mandatory).
• Avoid wearing waterproof trekking in monsoon treks, as the water seeps in during stream crossings & the shoes become heavy.
• Head Torch/ else mobile torch will also suffice.
• Sunscreen.
• Cap for winter/ summer treks & raincoat for monsoon treks.
• Avoid wearing shorts to protect yourself from insect bites.
• Carry your personal medication if any.
• A waterproof cover for you mobile (Monsoon measures not necessary in other seasons).
• Extra Pair of clothes.
• Flip flops for your return journey as your shoes might get wet (expert advise).
⚠️Essential Ethics for responsible & beautiful fireflies sighting:
Respect the Environment: Stick to designated trails and avoid littering to minimize your impact on the local ecosystem.
Keep a Safe Distance: Avoid catching or handling fireflies, as it can harm them and disrupt their mating behavior.
Minimize Light Usage: Keep flashlight use to a minimum to prevent interfering with the fireflies' natural glow.
Be Quiet: Keep noise levels low to avoid disturbing the fireflies and other wildlife in the area.
Be Considerate of Others: Share this magical experience with fellow visitors by giving them space to enjoy the spectacle.
Avoid carrying any deodorants: It messes up the fireflies big time!
By adhering to these ethical guidelines, you can ensure a responsible and unforgettable fireflies sightseeing experience for all.

Trek Rules
• Age Limit: 8 years and above Kids below 16 years to be accompanied with parents.
• Smoking and drinking is strictly prohibited on trek.
• Littering during the trek is prohibited.
• Do not carry valuable things like jewelry or any other things.
• The sponsors/performers/organizers are not responsible for any injury or damage occurring due to the event.
• Timings mentioned are based upon prior experiences. However, the timings may vary depending upon external factors such as traffic, group speed, route/ weather conditions etc.
Cancellation And Refunds
In case of cancellation of trek (1D or 1D/1N) :
3 weeks prior to the trek: 100% refund as Unhike Voucher
2 week prior to the trek: 50% refund as Unhike Voucher
1 week prior to the trek: NO REFUND
Cancellation on grounds of sickness/ periods: One can transfer the seat to their friend. However, we as organizers cannot help one find last moment replacement or refund the amount.
No show No Refund
In case of cancellation of trip/trek (2+ Days):
60 days prior to the trip: 100% refund as Unhike voucher
30 days prior to the trip: 50% refund as Unhike voucher
Less than 30 days prior to the trip: NO REFUND

We rarely cancel any of our events. However,
In case we are unbale to meet the minimum number of participants for our event i.e. 12 participants. Unhike reserves the right to cancel the event & refund the "booking amount".
In case of any change/cancellation of the event due to any reasons before departure, Unhike will refund “trek amount” only.
In case of changes/cancellation of the event after departure arising from circumstances amounting to “force majeure” or for any other reason beyond our control, Unhike shall not be liable to refund the amount already deposited. Suitable alternative arrangements will be made whenever possible.
