Eligibility & Participation:
• Age Limit: 18+ years only.
• Participants must provide accurate information during registration, including emergency contact and relevant health or fitness information.
• Participants are responsible for determining whether an activity is suitable for their physical fitness, health, experience, and ability.
• Unhike may restrict or discontinue a participant's participation if their condition, conduct, or ability is considered unsafe for themselves or others.

Adventure Activities & Inherent Risks:
Trekking, hiking, rock climbing, camping, backpacking, river crossing, cliff jumping, water activities, and other outdoor/ adventure activities involve inherent risks. These may include, but are not limited to, falls, slips, injuries, drowning, difficult terrain, changing weather, wildlife encounters, illness, accidents, and other unforeseen circumstances.
By participating:
• You acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with the activity.
• You agree to follow all safety instructions given by Unhike's trek leader, certified instructor, mountaineer, guide, or authorised activity staff.
• You will not undertake an activity against the instructions of the activity leader.
• Unhike may modify, restrict, or cancel an activity if it is considered unsafe. Failure to follow safety instructions may result in removal from the activity WITHOUT REFUND.

Medical Fitness:
• Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically and medically fit to participate.
• One must inform Unhike about any relevant medical condition, injury, allergy, medication, or physical limitation that may affect your participation.
• Unhike may ask a participant to refrain from an activity if participation is considered unsafe.
• Participants must carry any essential personal medication required by them.
• Unless specifically mentioned in the event inclusions, Unhike does not provide medical treatment beyond reasonable first-aid assistance.

Alcohol, Smoking & Substance Use:
Smoking, alcohol consumption, recreational drugs, or participation while under the influence of intoxicating substances is strictly prohibited during Unhike activities.
Participants found violating this policy may be removed from the event WITHOUT REFUND and may be responsible for any resulting damage, injury, or additional expenses.

Participant Conduct:
Unhike is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for everyone.
Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards:
• Fellow participants
• Unhike staff and activity leaders
• Local communities
• Guides and service providers
• Wildlife and the natural environment Harassment, abusive or threatening behaviour, discrimination, vandalism, or any conduct that compromises the safety or comfort of others will not be tolerated. Unhike reserves the right to remove participants engaging in serious misconduct WITHOUT REFUND.

Responsible Travel & Environment:
We believe in leaving places better than we found them.
• Littering is strictly prohibited.
• Participants must carry their waste back or dispose it only at designated locations at base village.
• Do not damage vegetation, wildlife, historical structures, local property, or natural features.
• Participants are expected to follow responsible outdoor and Leave No Trace practices wherever applicable.

Personal Belongings:
Participants are advised to avoid carrying valuables such as expensive jewelry, watches, unnecessary electronics, large amounts of cash, etc.
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the event.
Unhike is NOT responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

Event Timings & Itinerary:
Mentioned timings and itineraries are indicative and may change due to:
• Traffic and road conditions/ road blockage
• Weather - heavy rain, heavy snowfall, etc.

• Natural disasters - avalanches, landslides, floods, earthquakes, etc.
• Terrain conditions

• Trail or destination closures

• Flight cancellations or significant delays

• Strikes or civil unrest

• Epidemics or pandemics
• Group pace
• Local/ government restrictions
• Safety considerations/ security threat
• Operational requirements

• For trips involving remote, mountainous, or high-altitude regions, the published itinerary represents the planned itinerary and not an absolute guarantee of every activity, route, destination, facility, or timing.

• Other circumstances beyond Unhike's reasonable control. Participants should keep their travel plans flexible and allow reasonable buffer time. Changes or delays arising from such circumstances DO NOT automatically qualify for a refund.

Note: Any such modification if/will be made with the objective of maintaining participant safety and providing the best reasonable experience under the circumstances.

Event Inclusions & Personal Expenses:
Only the services specifically mentioned in the event details are included in the event fee. Personal expenses such as water, snacks, meals not specifically included, shopping, tips, personal equipment, and other incidental expenses are the participant's responsibility. Any additional expenses (e.g. unprecedented spike in the cost of travel, accommodation, government fees, fuel, etc.) arising due to circumstances beyond Unhike's reasonable control may be payable by the participant.

Insurance:
Travel, medical, personal accident, or adventure activity insurance is not included in the event fee unless specifically mentioned in the event details. Participants are encouraged to obtain appropriate insurance based on the nature of the activity and their personal requirements.

Transportation:
Where transportation is included:
• Transportation is subject to vehicle and operator availability.
• Pick-up and drop-off locations/timings may change where reasonably necessary.
• Participants are responsible for reaching the designated boarding point on time.
• Missing the designated transport due to late arrival will generally be treated as a NO SHOW and will NOT qualify for a refund.
• Unhike is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, road closures, vehicle breakdowns, weather, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Remote & High-Altitude Travel Conditions:

Certain Unhike trips may involve travel to remote, high-altitude, mountainous, or extreme-weather regions where facilities and infrastructure may be limited.

By booking such a trip, participants acknowledge and accept the following:-

• Water & Hot Water:

In extreme winter conditions, particularly at high altitudes, water pipelines and supply lines may freeze.

As a result:-

- Hot water may be limited or unavailable at certain locations.

- Where available, hot water may be provided in limited quantities in buckets for shared bathroom use.

- Participants should be prepared for basic and limited bathing facilities during such trips.

Note: the availability of hot water cannot be guaranteed throughout the journey.

• Electricity, Water & Network Connectivity:

Due to the remote nature of certain destinations and extreme weather conditions, participants may experience fluctuations or interruptions in:

- Electricity

- Water supply

- Mobile network connectivity

- Internet connectivity

Participants should be prepared for such limitations and should plan accordingly.

Unhike will make reasonable efforts to provide support and alternative arrangements wherever possible, but uninterrupted utilities or connectivity cannot be guaranteed.

• Road Blockages & Heavy Snowfall:

In regions affected by snowfall, road blockages may occur at any time during the journey due to heavy snowfall, avalanches, landslides, extreme weather, government restrictions, or other natural or safety-related circumstances.

Such situations may result in:

- Delays

- Route changes

- Temporary stoppages

- Changes to the itinerary

- Additional travel time

- Inability to reach or depart from a particular destination

Where such circumstances arise due to weather, natural events, or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Unhike, no refund will be automatically applicable.

Unhike will make reasonable efforts to provide the safest and most practical alternative arrangements available.

Flights & Air Travel:
Where flight tickets are booked through Unhike:
• Flight tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE from Unhike's end. Any cancellation, rescheduling, credit, fare difference, airline fee, or other applicable charge will be governed by the airline's fare rules. Unhike's cancellation policy DOES NOT override the terms and conditions of the airline or other travel provider.

• Flight schedules and operations may be affected by weather, technical issues, airport restrictions, air-traffic conditions, or other circumstances beyond Unhike's control.

Where a flight cancellation or delay results in additional accommodation, meals, transportation, or other expenses, such costs will be the participant's responsibility unless otherwise covered by the applicable airline, travel insurance, or other service provider.

• Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain appropriate travel insurance covering flight delays/cancellations, medical emergencies, trip interruption, and additional accommodation expenses where applicable.

Additional Nights & Expenses:

In the event of natural occurrences, extreme weather, road blockages, flight cancellations or delays, or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Unhike, participants may be required to remain at a destination or stay for additional night(s) beyond the originally stipulated itinerary.

In such circumstances, the additional costs arising from the extended stay will be borne by the participant, including but not limited to:

• Additional accommodation

• Food and beverages

• Local transportation

• Medical or health-related expenses

• Personal expenses

• Additional travel or ticketing costs

• Any other incidental expenses

Unhike will make reasonable efforts to assist participants in arranging suitable accommodation, transportation, food, or other necessary services wherever possible. However, the cost of such additional services will be payable by the participant unless otherwise specifically communicated by Unhike.

Participant Preparedness & Flexibility:

Unhike's objective is to provide the maximum possible support, safety, and comfort throughout the trip.

However, participants should understand that travelling to remote and high-altitude regions involves conditions that may differ significantly from normal urban travel.

Before enrolling, participants should carefully consider and be prepared for:

• Challenging terrain

• Extreme or rapidly changing weather

• Cold temperatures

• Limited or basic accommodation facilities

• Limited hot water

• Intermittent electricity and water supply

• Limited or unavailable network connectivity

• Road closures and delays

• Changes to the itinerary

• Extended travel times

• Limited access to medical facilities and other amenities

Participants are expected to remain flexible, patient, cooperative, and prepared to adapt to changing circumstances during the journey.

Safety and practical considerations will take priority over the originally planned itinerary whenever necessary.

Unhike Vouchers:
Where a refund is issued as an Unhike Voucher:
• The voucher is intended for use towards a future Unhike event or service.
• Voucher validity and applicable usage conditions will be communicated when the voucher is issued.
• Vouchers are not automatically redeemable for cash.
• Any restrictions applicable to a particular voucher will be communicated at the time of issue.

Photography & Video:
Photos and videos may be captured during Unhike events for documentation, promotional, educational, and social-media purposes. By participating in an Unhike event, you acknowledge that you may appear in such content.
If you do not wish to be featured in promotional content, please inform the Unhike team before the event begins.
We will make reasonable efforts to respect such requests.

Third-Party Services:
Some Unhike events may involve independent third-party service providers, including transport operators, hotels, homestays, airlines, local guides, adventure operators, restaurants, and permit authorities.
Such services may be subject to the respective provider's terms and cancellation policies.
Unhike will coordinate with service providers where reasonably possible but cannot guarantee circumstances entirely controlled by independent third parties.

Indemnity & Waiver:
All participants are REQUIRED to complete and accept Unhike's applicable Indemnity, Assumption of Risk, Waiver, and/or Consent Form before participating in an activity.
Participation may be denied if the required documentation has not been completed. The applicable waiver forms part of the participant's agreement with Unhike and should be read carefully before signing.

Acceptance of Terms:
By making a booking a trip to a remote, mountainous, or high-altitude region and/or participating in an Unhike event, you confirm that you:
• Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
• Understand the inherent risks associated with outdoor and adventure activities.

• Acknowledge that such travel may involve unpredictability, limited infrastructure, challenging weather, and changes to planned arrangements.

• Agree to follow all safety instructions provided by Unhike and its authorised activity leaders.
• Agree to the applicable cancellation and refund policy.
• Agree to complete all required indemnity, waiver, consent, and declaration forms.
• Understand that event itineraries and timings may change for safety or operational reasons.
IF you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, PLEASE do not proceed with the booking or participation.

Unhike will endeavour to provide the maximum possible support, safety, and comfort, while participants are expected to cooperate with the organisers and activity leaders and remain adaptable throughout the journey.
